Ever since the rogue Supreme Court (that has basically been reduced to a political institution obliging only its donor class) repealed Roe v. Wade in the 2022 Dobbs decision, Democrats have outperformed their polling in a big way in just about every special election.

Abortion rights have been a pivotal issue in driving Democratic turnout and during the midterms, we ran a lot of smart candidates who were able to clearly draw the line for voters: Republicans have despised Roe v. Wade from the beginning, and they’ve been working like hell to undermine it and kill it from day one.

Yet again, abortion rights are on the ballot in one of the most pivotal (and undercovered) races of 2024: The NY-3 special election on Feb 13. Voting has already begun in the fight for George Santos’ old seat, and while Democrats are enjoying a cash-on-hand advantage and a mail-in ballot advantage at the moment, Republican Mazi Pilip recently came out in support of the Dobbs decision, while refusing to codify Roe – making it clear that yet again, these rights are on the line in a race that will further help determine which party has House control in November.

It’s now apparent more than ever why we need Tom Suozzi elected to that seat – particularly after everything we endured from George Santos. Do whatever you can in the final week to flip this seat and help Suozzi win on Feb 13.
