Russia’s attempt at sanctioning Joe Biden is so feeble, they couldn’t even get his name right

When the United States placed economic sanctions on Vladimir Putin and his Russian oligarchs, it had the net effect of cutting them off from much of their personal wealth, which was spread around the globe. In an almost pathetically ineffective response today, Putin announced that Russia was placing economic sanctions on Joe Biden.

This has zero impact on Joe Biden’s personal finances, or on the United States in general. It’s a silly, stupid move from a rapidly shrinking Vladimir Putin who doesn’t fully appear to understand that his life is falling to pieces. It gets worse.

Because Putin’s government is completely inept in everything it tries to do these days, it didn’t even get Joe Biden’s name right. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki mocked Putin during her press conference today, pointing out that Russia had technically mistakenly sanctioned Joe Biden’s late father instead.
