All hands on deck

One of my focuses in the midterms is to get Governor Greg Abbott of Texas out of office. He’s possibly the worst Governor in the country and certainly the most sadistic. I say “possibly” the worst because it’s a toss-up for me with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Beto O’Rourke is, of course, running against Abbott and is doing an excellent job. A few polls lately have shown him cutting into Abbott’s lead, and one poll had Beto cutting it by half. But it will be one of the more challenging races. I happen to like a challenge, and I also despise what Abbott has done to children, so I’m all in.

I hope you are as well. One thing you can do is sign up to phone bank for Beto when the time comes. We need to tell Texans exactly what their darling Governor is doing to their state. The more people who know, the better things will go.

If you live in Texas, please consider driving people to the polls or doing any type of campaigning you can. He needs a lot of help, so it’s all hands on deck. How happy we would all be if terrible Abbott were to lose reelection. And to lose to someone like Beto — who has so many creative plans for Texas — would just be the icing on the cake. Let’s work hard, please, to make that happen.
