There is extremely bad news for fake House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. A new poll has come out. This poll is from CNN. And it shows that Republicans and Democrats have finally come together on one thing — that thing is agreement that Kevin McCarthy sucks.

Amazing as it might seem, if this poll is to be believed, Kevin and his fellow House republicans have an approval rating of a measly 27 percent. That’s pretty bad. Actually, that’s terrible. There is absolutely no way to “both sides” those numbers, although some in the media will surely try. And 73 percent of respondents said the House is not focusing on serious uses in this country.

Paging Kevin McCarthy — have you seen these numbers? You’re not going to like them much if you haven’t. And that isn’t all. An astonishing 42 percent of Republican respondents disapprove of their own party leaders. Compared that to Democrats, where just 22 percent said they disapprove of their leaders.

Forty-two percent — that is almost HALF of the Republican base. That is not good news. But the worst news – the grimmest — comes in Kevin’s own approval numbers. Only 19 percent approve of him.

And lastly – in this same poll, the majority of respondents said house republicans would “have a greater impact on the direction of the country” than President Biden. Wow. These numbers are more than just bad news; they are absolutely abysmal. Of course, it is only one poll and a mere snapshot in time, but still. Kevin and his buddies in the house need to get their act together before their approval plunges into the teens.
