When Donald Trump’s supporters formed an armed caravan and ran a Biden campaign bus off the road in Texas, it didn’t come out of nowhere. Donald Trump Jr had just gotten done telling Trump supporters to “have some fun” with the Biden campaign in McAllen. And shortly after it happened, Donald Trump tweeted a video of the incident, saying he loved it.
Now the FBI has announced that it’s investigating the incident. Nothing specific has been announced, but in our view this was a domestic terrorist attack against a United States election. Suffice it to say that Trump isn’t taking the news well.
Donald Trump posted this tweet in response to the FBI news: “In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong. Instead, the FBI & Justice should be investigating the terrorists, anarchists, and agitators of ANTIFA, who run around burning down our Democrat run cities and hurting our people!”
That’s right, Trump is now insisting that these violent terrorists did “nothing wrong” because they happen to be his supporters. But they’re in for a rude awakening. The ringleaders of this bus incident are likely to end up being criminally charged – and if and when Trump loses, he won’t be around to protect them.
