Donald Trump just gave away that he knows he’s losing

For all of Donald Trump’s empty bluster of late, and for all the doomsday headlines about how he’s more dangerously powerful than ever and finally has us right here he wants us, it would be extraordinarily difficult to identify the last time Trump had a win of any kind. He’s been hit with 91 felony charges. He’s currently on trial to lose his assets. He’s been unable to make things like a shutdown or a Biden impeachment happen in the House. And he’s helped his party lose the 2022 and 2023 elections.

So if you were Donald Trump right about now, you’d probably thinking that you’re in serious trouble because you don’t have victories anymore. But Trump is such a malignant narcissist, he’s unable to differentiate between his own fortunes and society’s overall fortunes. If things are going poorly for him personally, then they must be going to hell for everyone.

So it wasn’t surprising that Trump spent the Thanksgiving holiday declaring that “Our Country is in serious trouble. We don’t have VICTORIES anymore!” In reality the United States has scored victory after hard fought victory since Trump was ousted. When Trump says the country doesn’t have victories anymore, what he really means is that he doesn’t have victories anymore. Trump is admitting that he knows he’s losing it all.
