When it comes to President Biden’s groundbreaking infrastructure plan, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is casting aside his usual pretense and phony efforts to claim the high ground. Instead of pretending to care about bipartisanship, McConnell is flat out admitting up front that he has no interest in letting anyone in the Republican Senate vote for it.
This represents a major flip flop on McConnell’s part. He couldn’t stop talking about infrastructure investments back when the former guy was president. But now that Biden is in charge, McConnell has suddenly lost interest.
DNC Chair Jaime Harrison called out Mitch McConnell and the entire Republican Party over the debacle: “Just sad… a whole damn party with more flip flops than Myrtle Beach!”
