Sometimes dreams do come true. There is increasing talk about Donald Trump and what he’s planning to do regarding the debates. Now, as Palmer Report has already laid out for you, Trump is not planning on attending. Instead, he plans to appear on Tucker Carlson’s Twitter show. However, do not fret, people! Because Donald Trump, even if he isn’t at the debate physically might be there in spirit.

Reportedly Trump is in talks with failed Arizona governor candidate Kari Lake about having her represent him at the debate. Just when we thought we’d heard it all, right? If Lake appears, on Donald Trump‘s behalf at this debate, and all the independent and moderate voters who will undoubtedly be watching, see Kari Lake, and hear Kari Lake and inhale Kari Lake, there will no doubt be screams of terror from the mountains of Arizona to the rocky coastlines of Maine and all points in between.

Reportedly, he wants to send her to the debate in his place. And that’s not all. Now we have to talk about the spin room. The spin room is where everybody affiliated with the candidates go. The spin room is where the media is, and campaign managers eagerly give their spins on who won the debate.

Reportedly, Trump also wants to send some of his people to the spin room, including Byron Donalds and Matt Gaetz. No talks of Marjorie Taylor Green yet, but believe me, there will be. This could get good. Trump is leaning into the looniest, most freakish parts of the republican party. I cannot even begin to imagine what this debate will look like. Next week will be the shit show of the century, and we am here for it.
