Health experts, medical professionals, and the American public have been begging Donald Trump to invoke the Defense Production Act, which would force major industries to prioritize the manufacture of medical equipment needed to fight the coronavirus. Trump keeps falsely suggesting that he’s invoked it, but he hasn’t.

Days ago, Palmer Report pointed out that there had to be a corrupt reason for Donald Trump’s refusal to implement it; his corrupt cronies must have asked him not to implement it or something along those lines. Sure enough, it turns out Trump’s corporate cronies really did ask him not to implement it, according to a startling new Vanity Fair expose this afternoon.

In other words, Donald Trump really is more interested in taking care of his corporate cronies than he is in saving American lives. Meanwhile hospitals in the United States continue to try to treat coronavirus patients without enough medical equipment to save the patients, or enough protective equipment to protect the doctors and nurses.
