Ron Johnson just stepped in it

Dear readers, we've just launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our PayPal Page or our GoFundMe Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Some of our best political leaders in the country came from Wisconsin. People like Russ Feingold, Tammy Baldwin, Gwen Moore, and Gaylord Nelson. On the flip side, some of our worst political leaders also came from Wisconsin. Such as Joseph McCarthy, Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, and Ron Johnson. Johnson proved once again what a back end of a horse he still is, with the latest evidence coming to light of him mouthing to a GQP gathering that climate change is bullshit.

Weโ€™re facing some real issues right now due to climate change, with a good portion of the country in the midst of a heat wave and other environmental disasters. Johnsonโ€™s neighbors in Iowa had catastrophic floods in 2008, droughts, and a derecho about a year ago. Johnson and the rest of the GQP would rather stick their heads and the sand and not do a blessed thing. Not only but Johnson and his fellow GQPers oppose all reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change on us all and call making sure the planet is still habitable for future generations communism/socialism/etc.

So far eight Democratic candidates have declared their intent to run for Johnsonโ€™s seat in 2022. Johnson has not said if heโ€™ll run next year but either way itโ€™s important to run a hard, pipe hitting campaign to return a seat once held by Russ Feingold to the Democratic side and send Ron Jonson packing. As Johnson has been endorsed by the Orange Freaking Menace (OFM), getting Johnson out of office (or the Republican that runs should he not run) will serve as a further repudiation of OFM and Branch Trumpvidianism. And it will result another person who gives a damn about the climate in the Senate.
