“We’re done!”
“We’re done! Ah, the joys of Republican fundraising emails. I subscribe to that saying: “Keep your enemies closer” — at least in politics. That is why I often receive pathetic requests for money from the red side of the aisle. Just today, a Tom Cotton Goes Bonkers email found itself lovingly into my inbox.
“Republicans MUST (underlined) take back the U.S. Senate this year.” It is not happening. “Liberals should be terrified!” Of YOU? “Just a few days ago, Rachel Maddow went on a 15 minute unhinged rant.” Of course, he singles out the woman. “It’s going to get worse!” So true.
“The Marxist left, and their allies are going to say, spend, and do whatever it takes to stop these Republicans!” Poor baby.
“Will you….” Money grab incoming.
“One of the biggest reasons the red wave never arrived in 2022 is because republicans weren’t able to match the Democrats’ small dollar fundraising advantage.”
Tommy, the reason there was no red wave was that most of America hates you, thinks you’re a joke, and does not want you traipsing into their doctor’s office with them. Have you got it?
“Unhinged rants.” Did Donald Trump’s soul astral project into Cotton’s brain while he (or an eager young intern) wrote this stupid email? Now comes the part that matters.
“If we don’t win in November, we’re done!” Such dramatics! Cotton, perhaps acting classes should be your new thing. You certainly can emote even if everything you say is melodramatic hogwash.
So, as you can see, readers, it’s republicans who are frantic. These Republicans are VERY worried about that red wave that they’ve been waiting for possibly since eternity began, waiting like the QAnon people wait to see the rise of JFK Junior; every day, folks like Cotton wait for this red-hot red wave to cover the shores in GOP glory. If we do what we need to, they’ll still be waiting by the end of election 2024, in vain as usual.
