It was a dark and unsettling night when Donald Trump took to the stage in Ohio. It was another one of his half-empty rallies, music playing softly and menacingly and empty seats everywhere. It was the sad remnants left over from what used to be big crowds. It was far from the days of roaring crowds and speeches of victory.

Donald Trump, the monster at the center of it all, of course, talked about himself. That is not surprising since Trump truly does not seem AWARE that other people even exist. It is what happened next that has people talking. Although, in thinking about it — of course, this was going to happen. Of course, Donald Trump was going to turn.

On his own candidate. The candidate who once compared him to Hitler. Trump was there ostensibly to help JD Vance in picking up the Senate seat in Ohio. But things are rarely what they seem to be, and Vance learned that the other night — the hard way.

Trump ruined him. He destroyed his own candidate as ominous music played and Q salutes were everywhere. “Of course, he wants my support,” Trump said mockingly.

That happens to e true. But it is doubtful Vance expected to be mocked for it. This IS Donald trump, however, and Vance was about to get a taste of the derisive hate Trump holds for basically everybody, especially those who kiss up to him. “J.D. is kissing my ass,” Trump jeered. “The entire Maga movement is for J.D. Vance,” Trump laughed.

Did Vance know? Did he know he had been brought there to be humiliated? And if he did know — did he even care? “Yeah, he said some bad things about me,” Trump chuckled. “But that was before he knew me, and then he fell in love!”

Trump then went on to compare Vance to Kim Jong-Un. I’d feel sorry for Vance if he were not such a Dorian Gray. He sold his soul for this man. He gave himself away. Of course, now there is little for him but mockery. If he expected anything else, he’s truly a fool.
