Last week Michigan named Donald Trump and a number of his allies as unindicted co-conspirators in its ongoing criminal probe into the attempted overthrow of the 2020 election. At the time Michigan officials stated that the probe is ongoing, but declined to say whether Trump and his pals will end up indicted.

But now it turns out the probe really is actively ongoing. Michigan investigators just recently obtained hundreds of pieces of new evidence from various social media giants, according to CNN. At least some of this is related to the recent revelation that Trump associate Kenneth Chesebro had been using fake Twitter accounts as part of the plot.

Where does this get us? Michigan indicted its fake electors nine months ago. At this point any ongoing investigative efforts are more likely aimed at indicting additional people in the probe. Given that Michigan is obtaining new evidence against Trump’s people, it stands to reason that Michigan is looking to indict Trump’s people and/or Trump himself.

So yeah, it’s officially time for Trump to worry that he could end up on criminal trial in Michigan, in addition to his current and upcoming criminal trials.
