Money is like tropical fish — often seen but not so easy to catch. And yet everybody wants a piece of it. Money is the gift that can change one’s life. Not always for the better. Money can corrupt.

And there is nobody who would know that better than the media. After all, this is why we have Fox non-news. It’s because of money. It’s what they want, what they need, what they crave. It isn’t just Fox.

Many people are guided by the mistaken belief that the media is our friend. Nothing could be further from the truth. The media doesn’t want your friendship. Many of them do, however, want your money. And I’ve got to hand it to CBS. They win the money crown this week.

CBS News has hired Mick Mulvaney. For those who have forgotten who this moron is, he worked for Trump. He, at one time, was Trump’s acting Chief of staff. He also uttered the infamous words that our country does quid pro quos “all the time.” Nice!

His contempt for for the media is well-known. And he is now CBS News’ latest contributor. I kid you not. Normalizing horrible behavior is infuriating. However, I am sure CBS doesn’t see it that way. I imagine they want to make a buck or two — or three. CBS has now lost virtually all their respectability — all of it.

And staff at CBS are not taking this new hire well. They are said to be shocked and embarrassed. But CBS co-president Neeraj Khemlani does not appear to care. In a meeting a few weeks ago, he reportedly explained that more GOP staff were needed. They were needed because we — the democratic party would likely suffer a midterm “wipeout.”

So let’s prove him wrong. And let’s (politely) tell CBS what we think of this new hire. I plan to boycott and have deleted my CBS APP. Certain things are unforgivable. This is one of them. Just say no to the money CBS. Just say no.
