Someone is giving Marjorie Taylor Greene a run for her money on the front seat of the crazy train: Herschel Walker. He appeared on Maria Baritoromo’s show on Fox this past weekend, and not one thing he said made one lick of sense. Yet, the man is leading in the polls and in a hypothetical matchup, will unseat Senator Raphael Warnock. What is this world coming to? But there are still people out there who support Donald Trump, so this should not really be that surprising. The Root writer Keith Reed at least tried to find some humor in this situation, though for most, humor is hard to find considering this numbskull could soon be representing our state.

Walker is a typical Retrumplican. He is rich, he is stupid, and he does not give one hoot about anyone he will purportedly be representing. The main difference between Walker and Trump (besides the obvious visual one) is that he pays himself a “modest” salary of $100,000 while Trump spends every dime he gets his greedy little hands on. That likely makes Walker smarter than Trump, but that depends on your definition of “smart.” The things that come out of Walker’s mouth reveal that he is otherwise just as dumb.e He is H

Walker sat out the first set of debates, and the other candidates took full advantage of his absence by raking him over the coals while he wasn’t there to defend himself. Well, that was his choice, and if those are the types of choices Walker plans to make in office, that is merely another reason why he does not need to be a senator from Georgia, or anywhere else for that matter. Fox in Dallas ran a story in August 2021 reminding us that Walker does not even live in Georgia. Walker is quoted as saying: “I think the people made a mistake by saying I’m not a Georgian. I’ve always thought about Georgia.” So did Ray Charles, but he never ran for public office from a state in which he does not live. Under the Constitution, while Walker can remain in Texas for the life of his campaign, he must move to Georgia by the time the election rolls around. It will be interesting to see if he follows the Constitution or whether he-like Trump-simply thumbs his nose at it. More importantly, what happens if he fails to move? Can he be kicked out? This will likely end up being one of the more interesting races of the Midterms, and it will be made even more interesting by Walker’s “out of left field” comments.

While on Baritoromo’s show, Walker made the comment that “the Biden Administration decided that they were going to give up our energy,” though he never said where or to whom the energy is being given. To quote Reed: “WTF?” No one knows what the hell Walker is talking about, but we do know that we don’t want or need his representation in Georgia. He should run against Ted Cruz in the state in which he lives, especially since Texas likes incompetent representation.
