Trump campaign adviser criminally charged with allegedly being a foreign agent
The list of Donald Trump campaign advisers and political advisers who have been criminally indicted, convicted, and sentenced to prison is too long to even list. Now we can add yet another name to the “indicted” list.
Trump 2016 campaign adviser Barry Bennett has been criminally charged today with allegedly being a foreign agent. He’ll have to stand trial and we’ll see whether or not he’s convicted. But it means the list of indicted Trump advisers has grown even longer. This also raises the question of whether Bennett could cut a cooperating plea deal and give up others in Trump world.
Meanwhile Donald Trump himself has been criminally indicted on ninety-one felony charges across four different jurisdictions, and is awaiting four criminal trials and counting.
