MyPillow guy Mike Lindell has now lost just about everything as a result of his unhinged obsession with pretending the 2020 election was stolen, and he could well end up losing his freedom over it. In the meantime, even as Lindell’s money vanishes and his company falls to pieces while we all wait to find out why the FBI seized his phone, he’s even losing on the conspiracy theory front.

Lindell has fashioned a “wireless monitoring device” which he claims he can put outside a polling station and magically determine whether there’s cheating going on. No really, this is a real thing. Sure, the device is fake. It’s probably something he found at the bottom of a Cracker Jack box. But the story is real. As is Lindell’s formal request that the state of Kentucky allow him to use these devices in the next election.

It’s not clear why Lindell now thinks the voting in Kentucky – which voted for Trump by a nearly two to one margin in 2020 – is somehow rigged for the Democrats. But in any case, even local election officials in Kentucky have voted against letting Lindell and his contraptions get anywhere near voting precincts. They’ve even said that anyone who attempts to use such a device will be arrested. So maybe we’ll get to see Mike Lindell in jail after all.
