This is how poorly it’s going for Donald Trump
Just because Donald Trump is fantasizing out loud about some kind of imaginary military coup, it doesn’t mean he’s within a million miles of being able to pull it off. Instead, he’s giving away just how hobbled he is.
Trump is now ranting on Twitter about how he supposedly got conservative Justice Brian Hagedorn elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and how Hagedorn is now backstabbing him by refusing to somehow magically hand Wisconsin’s electoral votes to him.
Trump is boxed in, he’s reduced to whining about the conservatives and Republicans who are unwilling to try to bail him out. Frustration and resentment are all that he has left, and those don’t translate to political muscle.
