These Republican Senators don’t want to have to take the heat for being the ones to remove Trump from the political stage, because they know Trump will be convicted at his criminal trial anyway. This is an abdication of duty, and these Republican Senators should resign.

– Republican Senator Mike Lee has raised an objection to the fact that his name got dragged into the discussion, but he has no objection to Trump inciting a domestic terrorist attack. The Republicans couldn’t have their priorities any more screwed up than they do.
