On Friday, a number of House Republicans – including Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louie Gohmert, and Paul Gosar – launched something called the America First Caucus. Their missions statement refers to “Anglo-Saxon” values and makes clear that it’s a full on white supremacist movement.

House Democrats were having none of it. Congressman Ruben Gallego tweeted this: “Btw if you join the America First Caucus don’t dare ask me to join in legislation with you. Wouldn’t want my non Anglo, Colombian, Mexican indigenous blood to corrupt you.” He also included a middle finger emoji, which seems fitting.

Congressman Ted Lieu then dropped the hammer: “My friend Ruben Gallego, I’m planning on joining their Anglo-Saxon caucus so I could sit in their meetings because my mere presence as a non Aryan would scare them. I’m also going to eat chow mein with churros as dessert just to annoy them. Want to join me?”
