The name Steve Bannon is synonymous with failure. I’m not sure if he knows it or not. He might. I say this because Bannon’s insane ramblings have worsened over the last few weeks. The Steve Bannon show is over. He might be the last to know that.

All that remains is a tattered little man, trying his best to slip out of the net he has found himself caught in. This Friday, a federal Judge denied his request for a new trial. Bannon had tried his best. It appears that he does not want to go to prison.

But sadly for Bannon, the lonely cell looms large. There is no way to escape his fate. His requiem is in full bloom, and the only one who does not appear to know it is Bannon. The Judge said in her ruling that Bannon’s arguments “do not demonstrate a serious miscarriage of Justice.”

Poor, poor little Stevie. What’s a convicted felon to do? Bannon has also been threatening President Biden, saying that the Biden presidency is in danger from Maga. Could he be that obtuse? I’m afraid he could.

There are not that many Maga, and their numbers are shrinking. Only Bannon does not appear to know that. He might be one of the only ones. The man’s delusions of grandeur remain, but they have no place to go. There is no way out for Mr. Bannon.

The power of Maga is suffering a mournful requiem as it heads into its final chorus. And with the vanishing of Maga, Bannon finds himself more and more alone. If the man was not such a vile animal, I might feel a touch of pity. I do not. I feel only satisfaction. Any sympathy that could be felt is long gone. All Bannon has now are his memories as the lonely Maga requiem continues.
