Score one for Tim Ryan!
“Tim Ryan for U.S. Senate” says Cleveland.com in their endorsement of Ryan. Nobody deserves a Senate sear more than Ryan. He has been an outstanding candidate who needs to win. And he’s been giving it his all.
Ryan clobbered JD Vance in debates. Now you might think that’s easy, but it really is not. Vance is a seasoned debater who is known for his ability to talk a good game (and never follow through.) Ryan however proved he is a superb debater — one of the best.
He needs help, though, and has said so—Vance has Peter Thiel, a billionaire tech owner, behind him. Thiel funded Vance from the start. Ryan does not have that kind of help, so it falls to us to help him across the finish line. Cleveland.com highlights Ryan’s work on grassroots economic development. “Nobody owns me,” Ryan said.
Ryan is so different than JD Vance. A lot of people think, for some bizarre reason, that we can’t win Ohio — even though Ryan is currently ahead in the polls. Ohio is not Mississippi or Arkansas. Of course, we can win! We just need to put a little extra effort in.
Cleveland.com also calls out the craven hypocrisy of Vance and Vance’s political cowardice. One thing I can guarantee. If Vance wins this race, he will try for President down the line. It may not be in 2024, but it WILL happen.
JD Vance is one of the most ambitious and dishonest people you will ever hear from. But we can stop him in his tracks- we just need to help Ryan over the finish line in the next few weeks.
