I can pinpoint the exact moment I knew the Republican party was doomed. It was during the pandemic. It was the CPAC convention. Many a Republican attended. They chose to applaud and nod their heads approving when a disgusting and vulgar gold statue was wheeled out — it was a statue of Donald John Trump — crudely made but a statue nonetheless.

It was then I knew the GOP was beyond all help. I knew it as surely as I know seven days make up a week. The GOP had chosen. They had decided to worship a false prophet, a traitor, a criminal, and — though I did not know it then — a future insurrectionist.

In the here and now, the GOP stands, doomed, alone, like baby monsters clawing their way forward in the dark. Republicans flew way too close to the sun, and that ensured that they were finished as far as having any degree of respectability.

So Republicans can only blame themselves for the mess they find themselves in. Reports are the GOP is “cost-cutting.” Tennessee RNC member Oscar Brock stated that the GOP has ” a revenue problem.” The donations this year, he explains, are pretty low — much lower than in recent years.

Brock said that Republicans have “tightened down on expenses.” Without that tightening down, he explained, Republicans might be “in the red.” Republicans are being forced to make cuts to certain things because they calculated wrong on the money they expected to come in, and much of what the GOP expected never came.

Why is this? Well– there are many reasons. Some donors are concerned about how big a nuisance Donald John Trump is. They do not want their donations going to support Trump. This should not be a surprise as everything Trump touches turns to shit, so of course, he’d doom the fundraising efforts of the GOP.

Another reason is that the Republican base appears to be “demoralized.” I do not blame them. After all, Republicans have been showing for a while now they have no idea how to win elections. Of course, their base would be intensely frustrated.

Still, other donors do not appear to like RNC chair Ronna McDaniel. So, if you add all the ingredients together, it looks rather ominous for the GOP. I have a prediction to make. It will become even MORE frustrating for the GOP.

Why? Can one imagine the horror of donors when Trump goes to trial and is convicted? The man behind the golden statue the GOP worshiped so fervently will be a convicted felon. I do not imagine lots of enthusiastically cut checks when THAT happens.

So, Republicans are heading into 2024 with a significant disadvantage. They have nobody to blame but themselves. One should NEVER worship a fake God. One should never allow oneself to be caught in a net of evil and betrayal of the American people. The GOP have nobody to blame for their misfortunes but themselves.
