It’s official. Everyone hates Ron DeSantis. Even some of his own constituents. There is an outcry going on against the foul DeSantis. These outcries are coming from the women of Florida. This is because, in an utterly stupid but not surprising move, DeSantis just ended permanent alimony in the state of Florida.

It happened on Monday. The stingy governor signed a bill into law that does, among other things:

Eliminates permanent alimony for divorcees.

Includes a provision making it much more difficult for Judges to award alimony payments at all.

Restrict the amount of time when one can get alimony by making it 50% of the length of the marriage.

Allow for special modifications of alimony in certain situations.

It’s official. Ron DeSantis hates divorce and especially seems to hate WOMEN divorcees. This is the worst thing DeSantis could have done. He’s cratering in the polls, people are starting to despise him, and his odd and nasty personality is turning off millions.

This underscores what Palmer Report has said for years. DeSantis is a terrible politician. Advocacy groups are calling out the weirdo saying this bill will put some women in situations that will cause “financial devastation.”

Welcome to Florida — a state held captive by a madman. A state with no books, little alimony, and a crazy governor. The Sunshine State has seen better days, no doubt about it. DeSantis has been out and about making speeches which nobody listens to except to comment that he never seems to get tired of saying the word “woke.”

Perhaps DeSantis think alimony is woke. After all, whenever the oddball doesn’t like something, he simply labels it “woke.” Pudding Fingers is in big trouble in the polls, and this new move is certainly not going to help him one bit.
