The Democratic National Convention was a powerhouse tonight with one strong woman speaking after another. Gabby Giffords, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and others all hit it out of the park, and Kamala Harris is coming up next. It’s clear that the future is female. But it was President Obama who may have come down the hardest on Donald Trump tonight.

Obama spent a fair amount of time speaking in soaring overtures, before getting down to the business of kicking Trump around. Obama said he hoped that Trump “might show some interest in taking the job seriously” but that it clearly hasn’t happened.

Then President Obama delivered the ultimate guy punch: “Donald Trump hasn’t grown into the job because he can’t.” Obama then went on to explain in detail why Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are worthy of becoming President and Vice President.
