President Biden hits it out of the park in national address as House Republicans humiliate themselves
President Joe Biden took to the TV airwaves tonight to speak to the American people about his plan to continuing to protect U.S. allies including Israel and Ukraine. Biden’s speech was compelling, knowledgeable, and just what the world needs right now.
Biden also announced that he’s sending an urgent aid request for Israel and Ukraine to Congress. That means his request will go to the House, and the current leader of the House is… wait a minute… there is none. There hasn’t been for weeks, as the House Republican majority plays idiotic games and goads its own supporters into making unhinged death threats against each other.
The contrast could not have been more stark. The President of the United States, a Democrat, is hitting it out of the park on the world stage. The Senate, controlled by Democrats, is fully functional. But the House, controlled by Republicans, is a flaming dumpster fire of toxic waste. This is why we have to spend all of 2024 putting in the work to flip the House.
