Michelle Obama just called out Donald Trump
Former First Lady Michelle Obama always says that when they go low, we go high. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know how to gracefully throw a proverbial punch when it’s necessary. Moments ago she called out Donald Trump for refusing to concede an election that he’s clearly lost.
Michelle Obama posted a lengthy message on Instagram today. Here are the final two sentences: “This isn’t a game. So I want to urge all Americans, especially our nation’s leaders, regardless of party, to honor the electoral process and do your part to encourage a smooth transition of power, just as sitting presidents have done throughout history.”
This comes after President Barack Obama appeared on 60 Minutes last night and told Donald Trump that it’s over and that it’s time for him to start the transition to President-elect Joe Biden.
