Merrick Garland is having his day in the sun
Finally, Merrick Garland is getting the respect and recognition he SHOULD have received from the start. As I write these words, the night is being lit up. It’s being lit up with the voices of many are are speaking of Garland with gratitude, awe, and some with an apology for having underestimated him. On social media, comments like this are lighting up the Twitter universe:
“Merrick Garland is a rockstar!”
“Wow — Garland ain’t playing!”
“Proud of Garland!”
“I love it!”
“Garland is Trump’s Karma!”
“Garland is a ninja!”
“I’m here 4 for Garland!”
“Finally, someone has stood up to Trump. Merrick Garland!”
I could go on and on. Of course, not everybody is saying this. Maga remains the miserable mongrels that they are, grim and sour as lemons, declaring Trump innocent and calling for the impeachment of anybody who doesn’t agree with them.
Yet I will not quote Maga tonight. I don’t need to. They’re the minority, and they are a bland and bitter minority of ignorant vipers still clinging to their hateful nests.
But how lovely to see the love pouring into the stratosphere for Garland. Merrick Garland is not a good man; he’s a great one. And it has been infuriating, frankly, to see so many in the last year or so, shit all over him. So this is sweet Justice.
It is sweet Justice not only that Trump s getting everything that’s coming to him but that many have recognized what Palmer Report has been saying. Garland is good. Good is Garland. He is the right man for the job. And now everybody knows it.
