REALLY, NBC? Apparently, there was a lot we didn’t get to see in the “Meet the Press” interview of Kristen Welker and Donald Trump. That’s because much of the interview wound up on the cutting room floor. And — wouldn’t you know it — much did not make it onto our screens included Trump insisting the 2020 election was rigged and arguing crazily with Welker about that.

Anything to make him look normal, right Welker? This apparently happened in the first nine minutes and forty-five seconds of the interview. We did not see this. Why? Because Welker and her team made sure that we didn’t.

Showing a shrieking trump at his most insane would have been a great service to the American people. But apparently, they did not want to be of service. They wanted normalization.

Mediate broke this story and even posted those lost nine minutes on their website. So what say you, Meet The Press, what say you? This is precisely what is wrong with the media. Welker isn’t alone. Others would likely have done the same thing.

This interview apparently was not the cozy fireside chat Welker wanted people to THINK it was. Instead, it got off to a rocky start with Trump at his most authentic because he sounded insane, and he IS insane, so that makes it authentic. It would have done the public good to see that. This interview takes much credibility away from Welker, and it shows what a sad state of affairs our media is in.
