MAGA is in full scale implosion
Just a short time ago, the conservative news outlet, The Examiner, published a controversial article in which they called Donald J. Trump “unfit” to hold political office. They are correct. And it was a shocking thing to see such a conservative news outlet take a stand like that. It was welcomed, though. Trump represents well the collapse of morality in the GOP, and the more people who admit that, the better.
Still, many did not expect the LEVEL of blowback the outlet received. Maga erupted. Conservatives were infuriated, labeling The Examiner “controlled opposition.” Jenna Ellis was enraged. Sebastian Gorka was enraged. Many Fox pundits were enraged.
“Never Trumpers!!” They hurled the word out like it was some type of cuss. Like being a “never Trumper” is madness — some type of bad thing.
The insults against the Examiner piled up, getting lower and more accusing in tone and multiplying in righteous indignation. “You owe President Trump an apology,” many seethed. The anger was so palpable that one could almost touch it, feel it, and breathe it in. And this reaction — this permeating of hate — is why so many insist the world of Maga is a cult.
It’s also why we can’t let Republicans ever attain power again. It is difficult, if not damn impossible, to say how much damage these people have done to our country and our lives. They have besmirched the good name of America. They have happily spread their hate to lands close and far.
They have turned friend against friend, parent against child, and sibling against sibling. All over, the heartbreaking tales rise of people whose relationships have gone awry by politics. All over, the weeping for our country and hopes for its recovery going on. We cannot let the GOP back into power. It is like lighting a match to wood kindling; it is in fact, the deepest and most toxic danger of all dangers.
