Donald Trump launches into whacked out late night Twitter rant

Last night Donald Trump went on a whacked out late night rant about Michael Wolff and his new insider book, which quotes several of Trump’s own people saying terrible things about him. That unwittingly helped turn the book into a sensation, as patriotic anti-Trump Americans raced to bookstores today and bought up every copy they could find. Trump, having failed to learn his lesson, has just launched into yet another whacked out late night rant.

Just moments ago, Trump tweeted this: “Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!” Again, these words are coming from the person who is (illegitimately) occupying the office of President of the United States. Total loser? Dumped like a dog? This is not mentally stable. But it gets worse.

In his tweet, Trump also quoted a tweet from the official “GOP” account which quotes several media outlets โ€“ some of them out of context โ€“ while attacking the book’s veracity. While Trump may be too foolish to realize that publicly pushing back against this book only means it’ll get even more attention, the Republican Party leadership knows darn well that this is how things work. In other words, the GOP is purposely trying to push this book front and center, as a distraction from the dastardly and criminal things it’s been doing for the past twenty-four hours.

Republican Senators Lindsey Graham and Chuck Grassley committed serious felonies by demanding that the Department of Justice prosecute Trump-Russia dossier author Christopher Steele, even though they know he’s committed no crimes. The Republican Congress is also gearing up to steal billions from programs like Medicare and Medicaid, and its leaders will be huddled with Donald Trump at Camp David this weekend as they plot this theft. No wonder the GOP would rather the public focus on the anti-Trump book. Sure, that hurts Trump himself, but they don’t care about that; they’re only milking the rotting carcass of his presidency for as long as they can.
