Josh Hawley just found a whole new way to give America the finger

History has not been kind to Josh Hawley. The photo captured of him with a raised fist, showing solidarity to the insurrectionists, will forever live on as the face of January 6. And Hawley has never apologized for what he did either. Now, in the world of the GOP, apologizing doesn’t seem to exist. But I do think Hawley is taking non-apologies a wee bit too far.

Horrible Hawley has now decided to capitalize on the agony of January 6. And what better way to do that than by making money? There now exists a mug. This mug is being offered to drooling Maga for the price of $20. This mug features a photo as mugs tend to do. Only this photo isn’t of a cute cat or your favorite football team.

Not at all. This mug features instead of a photo of Hawley — THE PHOTO — fist raised, looking appropriately evil. “Liberals are so easily triggered,” the Hawley campaign email said. “Josh isn’t scared — he’s show-me strong!” This isn’t a joke.

I say this because I thought it WAS a joke when I first heard of this story. This mug stands not as strength but as treachery. The GOP has listened, not to their constituents but to the darkness. This darkness spoke to them, and they answered.

And now, they have ceased to be an actual political party since it so did.

What mug will they design next? Will it be a mug with a picture of gallows from that day? Perhaps they will come up with one displaying photos of some insurrectionists across the mug. You think that’s too way out for them? I don’t.

“This made in America mug is the perfect way to enjoy Coffee, Tea, or Liberal tears,” the email goes on. Nothing like a bit of “liberal tears” marketing. The only thing is — we’re not crying. Unlike the snowflakes and babies of the cult party, we are made of strong stuff and don’t break easily. And we don’t do insurrections.

Right now, there is only one political party, and that is us. We’re strong. The GOP has no goals — no plans to help America. The GOP, as it stands today, is a danger to society. That’s why we must not only win the midterms but win in a decisive and sweeping victory.
