Right now Donald Trump has his attorneys making an argument in court that Trump should be allowed to attack Stormy Daniels because of the testimony that she just gave in his criminal trial. This is, somehow, really happening.
To be clear, this has ZERO chance of working. The judge only took a few minutes to deny the request. And this is not somehow going to help Trump on appeal. It was a complete waste of time.
Yet this is what Donald Trump is focused on right now. This is what he has his attorneys wasting their time on, instead of trying to find a way to get him acquitted. Trump isn’t trying to win this trial, and he’s not letting his attorneys try to win this trial for him.
But this is what you’d expect from a guy who’s senile to the point of delusional. He seems to think that his criminal trial is a reality show or a social media feud, and that his best chance of “winning” is to say mean things about Stormy Daniels.
It’s enough to make you wonder what’ll happen once Trump and his attorneys lose this motion. Will Trump try to attack Daniels anyway? Can his babysitters keep him from doing so? Is he about to get himself locked up? This is all bizarre – and Trump has nothing left in his head.
