Everyone piles on after CNN’s Jake Tapper lets Dan Crenshaw walk all over him
As a House Republican, Dan Crenshaw essentially tells lies for a living. CNN has no business putting him on the air, unless it’s specifically to debunk him and correct the record. When Jake Tapper put Crenshaw on the air this morning and did very little to push back against Crenshaw’s lies, it was by default a willful amplification of Crenshaw’s lies – and audiences noticed:

At this point CNN is in freefall. The ongoing decline of Jake Tapper is helping to lead the way. Remember when Tapper used to be good at this? What happened? Now he’s just Chuck Todd with better hair.
