We’ve spent all day today wondering if Jack Smith’s January 6th grand jury is planning to criminally indict Donald Trump tomorrow. This grand jury typically meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but didn’t meet this Tuesday. So what’s happening tomorrow? Now we’re (allegedly) getting an answer.

Trump and his legal team expect Trump to be criminally indicted tomorrow (or as soon as tomorrow, which means tomorrow), according to a report late tonight from NBC. It’s possible that Trump is putting this out there as some weird and pointless disinformation campaign. But Trump getting indicted tomorrow does fit with everything we’ve been expecting.

So now we wait. But it sounds like we may not have to wait very long at all, if Trump’s claim that he’s being indicted tomorrow is indeed true. Stay tuned, as more information may surface about this in the coming hours.
