Donald Trump is about to make a huge mistake

Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he is going to testify at his fraud trial. I imagine waves of horror must be watching over his attorneys. Then again, these are the same attorneys who forgot to ask for a jury trial, so who knows? They just might think this is a good thing.

Now we still don’t know that this will happen. Donald Trump talks a good game, but when it comes to reality as you know, reality and Trump really are not on the same page and never have been.

Can one begin to imagine Donald Trump on the stand? Perhaps he’ll whine. Perhaps he’ll make threats. It is possible that he’ll revert to third person speak again, creeping out everyone in the courtroom as he talks about how the world loves their favorite President.

Anything is possible in the toxic windmill of a Trump brain that lacks the ability to think rationally. It is possible Trump will ramble on about sharks eating him although he’d be hard-pressed to find any in THIS city.

It’s also possible Trump will forget where he is entirely (and with his worsening senility THAT is not an outlandish thought.) And if Trump DOES forget he is in fact on the stand, he may start to threaten people. Wouldn’t it be delightful to see the traitor arrested right then and there?

This trial seems to be affecting Donald Trump very deeply. It’s making him insane, far more so than usual. And it’s no wonder. It’s his good name on the line although that good name has been gone for many years now.

I for one would love to see Trump get on that witness stand. No doubt he will attempt to turn the court room into his personal grievance stage although the Judge would surely shut THAT type of thing down quickly. But it would definitely be testimony to remember. I for one hope it happens and soon.
