Donald Trump idiotically attacks a key witness again while awaiting Judge Chutkan’s protective order ruling

Over the weekend Donald Trump made public threats against those prosecuting him, prompting Jack Smith to file in court for a protective order against Trump. Trump then immediately turned around and attacked Mike Pence, a key trial witness. Now that Trump has made his filing today arguing against a protective order, he’s turning around and very stupidly attacking Pence again.

Trump is being slightly more subtle about it this time around. Instead of attacking Pence over grand jury testimony and doing it in his own words, Trump is sharing a post from his flunky Keith Kellogg which attacks Pence on a political level. But still, this is a good way for Trump to ensure that he loses the protective order ruling.

It’s becoming more obvious by the hour that Donald Trump knows he’s going to be convicted, knows he’s going to prison for the rest of his life, knows he has no future political viability, knows he has absolutely no hope of making it out of this, and is trying to force the judge to finish him off more quickly by revoking his bail now. While the judge won’t throw Trump in a cell based on one or two social media posts, Trump is embarking on a pattern of behavior which will absolutely get him locked up if he keeps it up.
