Donald Trump gets booed and drowned out during disastrous speech at Libertarian Convention
Earlier we told you that ahead of Donald Trump’s planned speech at the Libertarian Convention, chaos was unfolding. Trump supporters tried to take over the front rows of the hall, but libertarians ultimately chased them out and relegated them to the back half of the room. For some reason Trump decided to go through with his speech anyway, and it’s going horribly for him.
Trump is getting some cheers, thanks to the presence of his supporters in the room. But a larger chunk of libertarians are actively booing Trump and drowning him out with chants like “Hypocrite!”
This is a disaster for Trump. If his goal was to gain votes from libertarians, he’s likely losing their votes instead.
