Cracking down on these anti-Biden loons
Joe Biden. Our President. How quickly time goes! It seemed just yesterday when people danced in the streets, joy shining from their souls as the world celebrated the end of Trump’s Presidency.
And now we are where we are. What I want to do with this article is remind everyone why we elected Joe Biden in the first place. I’d also like people to see what he has already done.
And then, at times, if you feel yourself sliding backward, if you feel negativity enveloping you, you can refer to this list. Heck, post this list on your refrigerator because it is a reminder of how far we’ve come.
Since Biden has been in office, he has:
He implemented a Covid-19 task force and succeeded in his roll-out of the Covid Vaccine.
He has issued an order against discrimination based on Gender identity.
Cut the child poverty rate in half.
He signed a 1.9 trillion Covid relief bill into law.
Increased Snap benefits.
Rejoined the Paris climate agreement.
Preserved DACA.
Ended the war in Afghanistan.
Got his Covid relief bill passed and stimulus checks sent out to the American people.
Put wildlife protections back in place, no doubt saving the lives of many of our outdoor friends.
Resumed Obama’s plan to put Harriet Tubman on the 20 dollar bill.
Ended the “1776” commission.
Succeeded in appointing a number of diverse and brilliant Judges
Issued and will continue to issue mask mandates to keep us all safe.
He is working with his Justice Department to fight the vile abortion law in Texas.
Restored President Obama’s portrait to the White House.
He provided money for those in need of rental relief.
Reopened the majority of schools.
Revoked an order excluding undocumented people from the United States census.
There is so much more. So, yes, we have more work to do. But please keep this list for when you are feeling down.Show it to others so we may amplify our message. And look at it when you need to. It is to remind you of all that has been done and all that will continue to be done under a sane and competent President.
