CNN’s Jake Tapper caught retweeting far right propaganda site

CNN wants us to believe that it covers both sides fairly and honestly in politics. And sometimes that happens. But far too often, CNN’s hosts merely cover both sides as if they were exactly the same, in order to create the illusion that both sides are being covered with equal tenacity.

That brings us to CNN daytime anchor Jake Tapper. He loves giving the impression that he’s equally hard on both sides of the political spectrum. But if that’s the case, then he should explain why he just got caught retweeting an article from the far right propaganda site Hot Air:

By now we know the drill: Jake Tapper will claim that retweets aren’t endorsements, or that the retweet was unintentional, or that he overlooked the dishonest nature of the right wing site he retweeted because he agreed with the article. But let’s frame this another way: have you ever seen Tapper retweet an article from a liberal political analysis site? Something doesn’t smell right here.
