Donald Trump is really, really, really over this whole “President” thing, and he’s now hoping to convince America to oust him. Either that, or his last few remaining functioning brain cells have imploded, and he can’t help himself. Take your pick, but after Trump’s violent and utterly deranged Thanksgiving rant today, this train wreck is growing more difficult to watch than ever.

Trump decided that Thanksgiving morning would be a good time to continue his ongoing feud with Chief Justice John Roberts. Trump seemed to blame Roberts for some imaginary plague of violence being caused by west coast federal judges:

“Justice Roberts can say what he wants, but the 9th Circuit is a complete & total disaster. It is out of control, has a horrible reputation, is overturned more than any Circuit in the Country, 79%, & is used to get an almost guaranteed result. Judges must not Legislate Security and Safety at the Border, or anywhere else. They know nothing about it and are making our Country unsafe. Our great Law Enforcement professionals MUST BE ALLOWED TO DO THEIR JOB! If not there will be only bedlam, chaos, injury and death. We want the Constitution as written!”

So there you have it. Donald Trump is either ranting about this repugnant crap because he’s hoping to force the issue and hasten the demise of his own presidency, or because he truly believes that this “bedlam, chaos, injury and death” is going on somewhere as a result of judges he doesn’t like. Back in the real world, the bedlam and chaos going on is inside his illegitimate and failing White House. Paging Robert Mueller.
