As if Trump’s week hasn’t been bad enough, we’ve got more bad news for the traitor. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll has come out. And according to this new poll, Trump is losing Republican support. It’s happening slowly but surely, but it’s happening.

Nearly half of the GOP respondents tell pollsters that if Trump is convicted, they will not vote for him. And, about 52% of respondents, say that if Trump is in the clink on election day, he will not receive their vote. Apparently, the January 6 indictment is having an extremely negative effect on the orange cheese head’s poll numbers.

So, why now? Why is this happening now? I think one reason is that the severity of what Trump is facing is finally breaking through. Let’s look at the facts. Republicans want to win, and some of them are beginning to realize that if they run Trump as their nominee, they might have a nominee running from a cell.

And that can’t sit well with them. Hence the slow shift. And I predict even more Republicans will slowly turn away from Trump. This won’t happen quickly. It’s like the ebb and flow of the sea. It starts ever so gently, then gathers in strength until it becomes a tidal wave.

And it WILL become such a wave. Trump is the worst possible candidate the GOP could possibly nominate. He’s a multiple indicted criminal facing decades in prison. How could that fail to sink in for some Republicans?

So yes, this poll is but a snapshot in time, but it’s encouraging. I don’t suppose Trump will be happy with these poll results as he’s not happy with much if anything that’s come his way lately.
