Donald Trump is now resorting to faking 2024 endorsements

Donald Trump keeps bragging about the endorsements he’s receiving from low level Republican politicians in Florida. This is embarrassing for Ron DeSantis, but doesn’t really help Trump any, because national voters have never heard of these people anyway. But now Trump is trying something else.

Trump has posted a three and a half minute video on his failed social media site which depicts liberal activist Michael Moore appearing to endorse Trump in the 2024 election. Moore is one of the last people who would ever do such a thing, of course. So this has to be a fake, right?

We poked around and discovered that this clip is actually a portion of a nearly six minute video that Moore posted back in 2016, during which he spent the first half of the video satirically pretending to make a case for Trump before spending the second half of the video explaining why Trump would make the worst possible President.

By chopping that video in half (leaving out Michael Moore’s extensive condemnation of Trump and warning not to vote for him) and posting it as if it were a current thing, Donald Trump and his people are essentially faking a 2024 endorsement from Michael Moore. That’s pretty pathetic.
