Ron DeSantis’ empty bluster isn’t helping him in Donald Trump saga

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is desperately trying to win over voters. That might be why he waddled right into the Trump indictment drama the other evening to announce that he would not let Trump be extradited were it to come to that.

DeSantis responded only minutes after the indictment was announced, which means he already had this response prepared. And with this response, DeSantis has made himself look even more ridiculous than he already has. Maybe it’s the red tide that he ignores and does nothing about in the sunshine state. There is DEFINITELY something in the waters around DeSantis.

First of all, were it to come to that which it won’t, DeSantis would have no choice. Florida is not its own country, much as Ronny might wish it to be so. So he’d have little choice in the matter. No, this stupid declaration was to pacify the world of Maga, who are going absolutely insane right now. ( Isn’t it fun?)

DeSantis cannot unilaterally block ANYTHING when it comes to extradition. And now, if he gets into the presidential race, he has guaranteed he’ll be asked repeatedly about the rule of law.

DeSantus is flopping. We knew he would, but the way it’s happening surprises me even because it’s happening faster than the speed of light. DeSantis is really just Trump wrapped in a more boring package. And he will find out the hard way that few people care for him or his abysmal politics.
