The media is attempting to ensnare President Biden. They are trying to trap him — ambush him with an immovable steel trap, with sharp jaws and iron clamps. Allow me to explain. You heard, I am sure, all the breathy whispers of many in the media, murmuring that President Biden is mad at Garland that he isn’t moving faster. Bull.

This “story” that came out was a mess. This, however, did not stop many a pundit from running with it.

And now the trap comes into view.

Some fake pundits are asking a question. It does not matter how they phrase it. It is the same question, perhaps packaged a bit differently depending on who the pundit is.

Does Biden REALLY want the Justice Department to remain impartial?

Oh, I am sure you’ve seen them, my friends. These pundits, eyes lit up with gossip, waiting tensely for our President (or one of his spokes-people) to step into the trap.

Here is the meat of the trap:

If it were confirmed Biden really did say this to someone, the media could gleefully move on to the NEXT question.

But isn’t Biden then doing what Trump did with Bill Barr? Why say this? Could Biden’s words, in fact, HURT the investigation? Could Garland perhaps decide not to investigate because Biden pushed him too hard?

This is happening, friends and readers. I have already seen it. I know what these media pundits want. They want a story. And it does not appear to matter if the story is true or not. They want to gossip; they want party-chatter. They wish to triangulate.

Please remember that word — triangulation. In psychology, triangulation is vehemently discouraged. Triangulation almost always brings with it discord and hostilities.

But that is what these pundits WANT. They are trying to set Biden up. This is a story THEY created. And now — they want to keep on honing it until — somehow — the relationship between AG Garland and President Biden is fractured, leaving these pundits a new story of what it all means.

This is how fake news is written — it is how pundits roll. It is their discontent. Biden and Garland don’t seem to be falling for it, and neither should you. It is time to end the cycle of fake news. It is time to change the channel.
