One thing I do not understand is the surprise expressed by many that his royal failure Donald Trump has endorsed Hungarian leader Viktor Orban. Many pundits have expressed surprise, even shock, over this endorsement. It does not surprise me one bit. Trump has always been drawn to dark, damaged, and authoritarian leaders because Trump himself is dark, damaged, and authoritarian.

Water usually seeks its own levels. And for Trump, the only thing he understands is evil. Over and over, the failed traitor has shown us who he is. So why should we be surprised now? Trump is strongly drawn to people who either inspire or attempt to inspire fear. This is because that is one of his biggest wishes for himself.

Trump would love to inspire fear, although he is nowhere near emotionally astute enough to know his soul is one big black hole of fear.

There are few people more afraid than Trump. He is terrified of failure. He trembles inside at being called a loser. The black hole inside him can never be fixed because it is gargantuan in its vastness. It has no end.

In his endorsement of Orban, Trump praised him as “strong.” Orban is very much like Trump. He has done severe damage to Hungary’s freedoms and has embraced one-party rule.

Hungary’s reputation has suffered dearly under Orban’s leadership. There is a group that ranks Democracies, and they ranked Hungary as one of the top Democracies to be concerned about.

This does not bother many Republicans. Last year, Tucker Carlson even went to Hungary and did a show or two there. It is sad indeed that any Republican would even think of looking at Hungary as a model for our own government. This tells us so much about the wanna-be dictators that now comprise the not-so-grand old party.
