Donald Trump’s disapproval rating is now the worst of any U.S. President in the history of polling
Donald Trump can’t seem to make up his mind whether he wants to carry out brief strongman stunts like tear gassing peaceful protesters outside the White House, or whether he wants to remain hiding in his underground bunker like the coward that he is. But Americans are having less trouble making up their minds about Donald Trump.
If Trump’s incendiary moves over the past week have been aimed at boosting his terrible approval rating numbers, it’s having the opposite effect. FiveThirtyEight now calculates Trump’s disapproval rating at 54%, in a weighted calculation of all the recent polls. Nate Silver notes that no U.S. President has ever had a worse disapproval rating, meaning Trump has the worst disapproval rating in the history of U.S. Presidential polling.
