THINK AGAIN

When Roe v. Wade became the supposed โ€˜Law of the Landโ€™ it dramatically changed the economics of families. Why? Young girls were not forced to bring to term a fetus and deliver a baby they could not financially take care of โ€“ it reduced the possibility of dropping out of school and becoming another Welfare mother. Women completed their education and it has been shown they achieved 10% more earnings with advanced education. Women moved into the workforce to provide a 2nd income to their family and only until they could financially handle the responsibility of a baby put off having family a — you might think that if Roe v. Wade is overturned that birth control is still safeโ€ฆโ€ฆthink again.

In Justice Alitoโ€™s draft opinion he wrote, โ€œNothing in this opinion should be understood to cast doubt on precedents that do not concern abortionโ€. Well the Supreme Courtโ€™s ruling on Roe v. Wade identified a constitutional right to privacy, so when Roe is stripped away, how about next your right to the privacy to decide on contraceptives or who to marry โ€ฆโ€ฆthink again.

Letโ€™s say that a woman has an ectopic pregnancy and isnโ€™t allowed a medical procedure to end that pregnancy and poison leaks into her body and kills her. What affect does her loss of life financially have on her family, not to mention the emotional loss? Letโ€™s see, ALL the years of lost earnings after she would have returned to work after a normal pregnancy and the extra financial burden of childcare for any remaining children in the family. Donโ€™t believe for one minute that will not happenโ€ฆ.this is a death that could have been preventedโ€ฆ.. so think again.

Perhaps you are not of child bearing age and say, it wonโ€™t affect meโ€ฆ.but THINK AGAIN, about your daughters and grand-daughters.
