On April 13, 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira was arrested for leaking classified documents through a Discord server. Shortly after his arrest Marjorie Taylor Greene decided it was a brilliant idea to paint Teixeira as “white, male, christian, and antiwar” in a tweet, that it made him an enemy to the Biden administration, and he was justified in leaking the information owing to his status as a Biden enemy. Then Tucker Carlson of Fox “News” jumped on the bandwagon to defend Teixeira and claimed that the US had troops fighting in Ukraine with no proof that was happening.
Then on Sunday Sen. Graham criticized this defense of Teixeira. Graham said Teixeira broke the law so he should be going to jail. Graham said that when members of Congress justify what Teixeira did, it put the country in “serious danger.” So, how did Greene respond? Did she respond in a mature and thoughtful matter? Oh, hell no. She instead posted a photoshopped picture of Graham and CNN host Dana Bash that has Graham holding a can of Bud Light with a picture of transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney on it. Yeah, real mature, Margie.
This is just the latest example of how Greene is not worthy of any elected office, be it dog catcher or member of Congress. It’s apparent she thinks as much of classification of information as the orange former guy does, and why others in the government must condemn and prosecute these violations to the full extent of the law, no matter who commits the violation.
