There are some Democrats who show themselves to be of such superb character that one has to call them out when one can. Rep. Eric Swalwell is one of those Democrats.

Swalwell (superb character Democrat-California) has been bringing the sass even more than usual. He is proving to be invaluable at slapping back some of the lies of the insurrection party.

Take what happened with Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona. Gosar is – to put it bluntly – batshit crazy. And nothing proves that more than his latest loony comments.

Gosar referred to the Officer who shot Ashli Babbitt as an “executioner.” As you know, Babbitt was the person shot while trying to breach the Capitol on Jan 6. The Officer who shot Babbitt was trying to keep her and her posse from killing members of Congress. All he did that day was his job.

Apparently, though, Gosar does not think so, proving once more that the GOP is not the party that backs the Blue. Fortunately, Swalwell was on it.

“That settles it,” Swalwell said on Twitter. 1)”@RepGosar called a Jan 6 hero cop an executioner; 2) @GOPLeader McCarthy lied to Ofc Fanone that he’d meet him; and 21 @housegop vote against Gold Medals for Jan 6 heroes. GOP are the ‘dishonor the police’ party.”

Thank you, Rep. Swalwell! This is what we all call “speaking truth.”

And it is so true. This phrase-“dishonor the police party” describes the GOP perfectly. I want to see commercials about it. I want everybody to use it. Why? Because it is the truth. And it shows what the GOP are when one unmasks them.

The GOP seems to fear the former guy and his minions more than just about anything else. Letting a bunch of cowards run our country is not something we can afford to have happen. So, thank you again, Rep. Swalwell, for speaking truth to power.
